Self-Care & Self-Empowerment Through Energy Awareness

To be truly present for others, we must be present for ourselves. Within each of us exists a sacred place of absolute love, where our inner intelligence knows exactly what we need to grow into our fullest potential. We access ths place by connecting with spirit and by becomng aware of the flow of life force energy within us. Self-empowerment is the ablity to discern what is and what is not in our best interest, and to act with authority on our own behalf. The foundation of self-empowerment is self-care.

The talks, guided meditations, and self-reflection exercises in this seminar are designed to be transformative. We will identify mental, emotional and physical stresses and patterns which take us out of balance, and cause us to lose energy. We will discover how to gain power through awareness of our strong and loving parts, and by learning how to manage our energy with sensitivity and skill. We will explore these concepts as they relate to self-image, relationships, finances, work and play.

Practitioner's Ethics

A practitioner whose work involves assisting others while being part of or opening nonordinary, expanded states of consciousness must take extra care to be clear. Such nonordinary states of consciousness can occur in a wide variety of settings, including massage, bodywork, therapy, healing, meditation, peak states associated with physical exertion, time alone in nature, etc. The different quality of clients' awareness in nonordinary states creates openness for greater depth of work, but also creates vulnerability, raising ethical questions and responsibilities for their practitioners, explored here from Athabascar's perspectives of light and flow. Receive support in holding a high focus for you and your clients, tracing back your patterns of less-harmonized interaction, following clear boundaries, and more.
